BPMS engineers are proficient in CAESAR II Pipe Stress Analysis program. BAEC believes that the use of this software is the standard against which all others piping software are measured and compared. The CAESAR II spreadsheet input technique revolutionized the way piping models are built, modified, and verified. CAESAR II was the first pipe stress program specifically designed for the PC environment. The interactive capabilities permit rapid evaluation of both input and output, thereby melding seamlessly into the "design - analyze" iteration cycle.
CAESAR II incorporates a wide range of capabilities, from numerous piping codes, to expansion joint, valve & flange, and structural databases, to structural and buried pipe modeling, to equipment and vessel nozzle evaluation, to spectrum and time history analysis. This enable BPMS engineers to optimize piping design configuration within code limits of stress, elongation, displacements and other stress/forces parameters. This program was used in various projects in BSP such as the AMDP-12, CP-3 Intermediate Deep and Champion 7 De-Bottlenecking project.

ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT
BPMS uses ETAP, EDSA, DAPPER/CAPTOR, EZPower, etc. for its analysis of electrical engineering design for onshore/offshore and power plant respectively. BPMS has experience in performing power systems studies with power system analysis software (ETAP, EDSA, DAPPER/CAPTOR, EZPower, etc.); solid design engineering work experience in the area of offshore, or utility power systems; and experience in testing and commissioning of electrical power equipment such as type testing, field testing, and factory testing. In addition our engineers knowledgeable with MS Office Applications e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint; working knowledge of and/or AutoCAD.
On small to large projects our senior engineers can oversee a team of engineers, designers and drafters to develop and assemble the contract packages in accordance with the project objectives; and developing detailed design of electrical systems for capital projects such as Tutong Power Station, AMDP-12 platform, Champion De-bottlenecking and CP-3 Intermediate Deep Gas Development for Brunei Shell Petroleum.
Developing the Electrical Single Line Diagrams; performing Short Circuit, Load Flow, and other Power System studies to insure appropriate equipment ratings and power system performance; performing Protective Relay Coordination Studies; defining Protective Relay Settings and coordinating second level reviews with internal experts; developing motor control and motor restart strategy; working with the Project Team to develop and document the Electrical Area Classification details and drawings; and working with Electrical Equipment Suppliers and internal procurement organization to develop major electrical equipment order specifications.
